Complex Homeopathy Made Simple
Homeopathy has been called "the original alternative medicine". This form of medicine was discovered over two hundred years ago by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a chemist and personal physician to the German royal family. Disillusioned with the medical practices of his time, Hahnemann stumbled across written studies that demonstrated the principles of the law of similars. Through this principle he found a gentle means of stimulating the body's innate healing ability and coined the term "Homeopathy" from the Latin words homoion (similar) and pathein (disease, suffering). "Let like be cured with like," was Hahnemann's philosophy.
How Does Homeopathy Work?
Homeopathy is based on a belief system called the law of similars: like cures like. For example, poison ivy creates rashes and itching, but when elements of poison ivy are prepared and administered as a homeopathic remedy, they may help the body overcome the same symptoms – like cures like.
A homeopathic remedy is simply a dilution of one or several plant, mineral, or animal substances. These substances are diluted until either none or very little of the original substance remains. In homeopathy it is the energetic signal, rather than the substance, that is believed to have the healing effect. Remarkably, the weakest dilutions are considered to be the most potent, as they are believed to work at a deep cellular level. Remedies are chosen with the intention that when ingested, the homeopathic remedy signals the body to elicit its natural immune response, leading towards internal balance and the restoration of health.
What is the difference between Classical and Complex Homeopathy?
Classical Homeopathy uses a single remedy at a time. As well as being prescribed by a Classical Homeopath, classical homeopathic remedies for acute conditions are now commonly available in shops and pharmacies. In contrast, Complex Homeopathy (sometimes called Modern Homeopathy) uses a number of different remedies given together. Apart from the main therapeutic action intended, this allows the product to include drainage to help detoxify the body, and nutritional substances and spagyrically processed herbs to nourish the cells, all at homeopathic dilutions. Complex remedies may also contain the same substance at multiple ranges of potencies, activating different levels of tissue. These are called homochords. For example one potency may target the area outside the cell, another potency the cell membrane, and another the interior of a cell. It is therefore common to see the same ingredient at several different potencies within a complex remedy. (For more information we highly recommend viewing the video above).
The appeal of the Complex Homeopathy approach is the potential for it to increase the therapeutic action, Complex Homeopathy may be particularly useful for speedily addressing acute conditions, and may also be effective for a wide range of chronic illnesses including those that are allergy based such as migraine, asthma, eczema, and some forms of arthritis.
Remedies from Energetix
Energetix began with a vision to create a vibrant company providing the most effective, high quality natural remedies, clinical education, and support network available to healing arts professionals and their patients/clients. As the philosophy is different, not all therapists using complex homeopathic remedies are classically trained homeopaths. Like us at The Therapy Network, many come from other fields of bio energetic therapies. The Therapy Network are very proud of their association with Energetix, who only partner with practitioners who are interested in advancing the scope of their practice by offering a new level of healthcare to clients. Energetix invests heavily in training practitioners, and the company do not sell products directly to the public.
Is Complex Homeopathy Right for You?
Every person's health and healing process is unique. Although a range of "Home Pharmacy" items for acute conditions may be suitable, for chronic conditions it is important that you are able to consult with a practitioner about the best combinations of remedies for you. The following is a list of some different types of Energetix homeopathics that Network practitioners may recommend:
- Nosode Detoxifiers: Encourage the release of toxins from deep within the cells.
- Drainage & Tonification Remedies: Drain and tone the organs, glands, and tissues.
- Sarcodes: Supply the body with a blueprint of healthy tissue from which to rebuild.
- Flower Essences: Based on the research of Dr. Edward Bach, these remedies promote emotional stability, balance, and renewal.
To those within travelling distance of the Somerton treatment rooms, we offer a 15 minute supplement check appointment. For this option, or if you wish to order products, please email via the contact page. For those not attending an appointment, as it is important to use Energetix with the guidance of a trained practitioner, please note that we may make recommendations through email to a customer if we think that a particular combination of remedies is not optimal, or to verify that the customer is under the care of a practitioner.
